» When Infinigate Group acquired several companies as part of its M&A strategy, I was brought in to build the group-wide internal and external corporate communications function. Within just a few months, the organization grew from around 480 employees across 11 offices, generating €813 million in revenue in Europe, to nearly 1,300 employees in approximately 45 offices across 30 countries, with revenue of around €2.3 billion across EMEA.

My responsibilities included communications around the acquisitions, which received international media coverage, as well as the rollout of the newly developed corporate identity and the development of a global PR agency network. Selected work samples:

As a member of the internal Incident Response Group, I was responsible for crisis communications related to IT incidents. A more systematic approach to LinkedIn also helped increase the company’s follower base severalfold.
» Internal and Employee Communications
Before the acquisitions, Infinigate Group had only limited internal communications structures in place.
We therefore first established recurring internal communications formats that could be used effectively when the acquisitions were announced. As a member of the Integration Management Office (IMO), I also helped strengthen change communications throughout the transformation. Regular pulse checks and a one-time culture assessment provided an important basis for this work.
To support the transformation, we established the “Sounding Board”, a network of around 50 selected employees from locations and key functions across the organization. Acting in a role similar to change agents, the group met roughly once a month and actively contributed to shaping the transformation.
My responsibilities also included building a group-wide intranet in less than eight months, organizing company-wide town halls twice a year, and providing event-driven communications through recorded videos, live Microsoft Teams sessions, articles, newsletters and other formats.
